We’re excited to kick off another great season of Swampscott Nahant Youth Basketball! Below you’ll find important information about tryouts, the pre-season clinic, and the upcoming season schedule.
TRYOUT SCHEDULE
All tryouts will be held at Swampscott Middle School.
Girls – MONDAY, November 3rd
- 6th Grade: 6:00–7:00 PM
- 7th & 8th Grades: 7:00–8:30 PM
Boys – Tuesday, November 4th
- 5th & 6th Grade: 6:00–7:30 PM
- 8th Grade: 7:30–9:00 PM
Boys – WEDNESDAY, November 5th
- 7th Grade: 6:00–7:30 PM
📅 SEASON TIMELINE
- Practices Begin: Week of November 10th (more info coming soon)
- Regular Season Games Start: December 6th
- Regular Season Ends: February 28th
- Playoffs Begin:March 4th
- All teams make the playoffs
- Double-elimination format
- Playoffs Conclude: By March 15th
🏀 PRE-SEASON CLINIC (Optional)
We’re offering a special skills clinic next week at Swampscott Middle School, run by Elite Hoopers Academy.
Clinic Details:
- Girls (Grades 4–8): Monday, October 27th, 6:00–7:30 PM
- Boys (Grades 4–8): Wednesday, October 29th, 6:00–7:30 PM
- Cost: $10 per player
- Capacity: Limited to 20 participants per session
