Skills & Drills Oct. 2023 And Evaluations

This coming week is skills and drills: Schedule below. Is is not required but highly encouraged to attend. Following week are tryouts and they are mandatory. Same times, same groups: the Dates are the 23rd, 24th and 26th for evaluations/team placement.

The Swampscott Nahant Youth Basketball Association (SNYB) registration will open September 1, 2023 for the Fall/Winter 2023/2024 Season. SNYB is a girls & boys 4th-8th grade competitive travel basketball league. Registration closes October 24th. However, we encourage you to sign up now to help manage team sizes. If you already have a TeamSnap account, go to the registration link below.

For those who don’t have a TeamSnap account you will need to download the TeamSnap mobile app from either the Apple store (iPhones) or Google play (Android) and set up your account before clicking on the registration link below. There is also a help link from TeamSnap below if you need a step by step layout of this process. Uniforms are required at a cost of $45 and can be ordered and paid for during registration process.

SNYB Evaluations November 7th – 10th at Swampscott Middle School (SMS) GYM

Please make every effort to make to **both evaluation nights for your child’s age group. We strive to make teams that are both competitive and a good fit. This works best when we can see all the kids play over a couple of times. Everyone makes a team. To learn more about the process please go to the “general information” tab.

Skills Session Thursday, October 13th at SMS Gym

This Thursday, October 13th at Swampscott Middle School we will be doing skills instead of tryouts. Gym is on the 2nd floor, please use the back steps. Bring your own ball with your name marked on it!!
